I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #19727) with nearly a decade of experience in the field of mental health. My path toward becoming a therapist began with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and Sociology. I strongly believe that sociological factors significantly shape mental health, as the pressures and dynamics of society can deeply influence an individual’s emotional well-being. Afterward, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Psychology, seeking deeper knowledge and practical tools to tailor therapeutic approaches to the unique needs of each client.

My continuing education led me to embrace a psychoanalytic approach, with a particular focus on integrating Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), both of which offer deep insights into human emotions and relationships. These approaches allow clients to connect with themselves on a deeper level, promoting emotional growth and healing. I specialize in working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, life transitions, and interpersonal conflicts.

In my practice, I am deeply committed to helping clients explore their inner world and create meaningful transformations in their lives. I believe that within every challenge lies an opportunity for growth, and together, we can uncover the root causes of distress to bring about lasting change. By understanding the underlying emotions and patterns that shape your current experience, you can gain the insight needed to break free from repetitive cycles and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Who am I outside of my role as a therapist?

Beyond my work as a therapist, I have a deep passion for Pilates and practice it professionally. I enjoy travelling, gardening, and attending music concerts, as they inspire my creative side. One of my favourite pastimes is having meaningful, deep conversations with friends, and diving into discussions about our worlds and shared experiences.
