SAJE Counselling in British Columbia
Access Mental Health Support Through Conscious Mind Counselling
Taking care of your mental health is an important part of building a healthy, meaningful future. If you are a young adult in British Columbia with experience in government care, the Strengthening Abilities and Journeys of Empowerment (SAJE) program may help you access counselling and mental health support.
At Conscious Mind Counselling & Consulting, we offer compassionate, trauma-informed counselling in Coquitlam for young adults across the Tri-Cities, including Port Coquitlam and Port Moody, as well as virtual counselling throughout British Columbia. Our team of Registered Clinical Counsellors provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore challenges, build coping skills and work toward your personal goals.
What Is the SAJE Program?
SAJE is a BC government program that supports young adults with care experience as they transition into adulthood. Supports may include housing, income assistance, life skills and mental health services. The SAJE Mental Health and Counselling Benefit may provide up to $1,500 per calendar year for eligible, approved counselling and mental health services.
Eligibility depends on your qualifying circumstances and program status. For more information, visit the official Government of BC SAJE website.

What Does the SAJE Counselling Benefit Cover?
The SAJE Mental Health and Counselling Benefit can provide up to $1,500 per calendar year for eligible, approved services.
